Faro Motor Cycle Ralley

Faro Motorcycle Rally

Bikers across Portugal and beyond strapped on their helmets and zipped up their leathers in July for the Faro Motorcycle Rally, arguably the most famous rally of its kind in Europe that enjoyed its 31st edition this year.

Kick-starting on the 19th July, the Faro Motorcycle Rally featured four days of beautiful bikes and the unique culture they represent. Many thousands of motorcyclists travelled countless miles to the ‘Biker Mecca’, or took cheap flights to Faro in order to mingle with their fellow riders, many of whom are Faro Motorcycle Rally veterans.
Revved-Up Fun

The sun-drenched days of the Faro Motorcycle Rally were filled with biker runs, exhibitions, competitions and stands at which visitors could pick up the latest motorcycle accessories, or even get a tattoo to commemorate the experience.

When night fell on the Faro Motorcycle Rally the action only heated up, with live concerts every evening and the bars staying open around the clock so revellers could party for as long as they could handle. There was no missing a minute of this fantastic event too, with the packed campground in its usual location in the heart of all of the action and right by the beach, which was perfect for when partygoers needed to catch their breath.

It’s no wonder that this year’s Faro Motorcycle Rally was so popular with so many cheap flights to Faro available from companies like Jet2.com, for as low as £32.99 one way including taxes. If you missed out on this year’s rally, start planning your trip for the 2013 edition now, and snap up the best flight deals as soon as they go on sale.
