The UK loves caravanning more than most nations and because of that we have some of the most amazing caravan parks to choose from. Some are exclusive for members only, where as others will allow touring caravans just for weekends. In this article we will look at some of our favourite ones.

Low Wray, Cumbria

This is a national trust camp site which is right in the heart of the lake district. Its perfect for those that enjoy long walks in the fells as there are a lot of amazing mountains right on the doorstep.

If you have some friends staying at the same time and there isn’t room in your caravan then they have a number of glamping pods available, which is perfect for those looking for a bit of luxury. Theres also a great range of facilities available for children such as a playground, bike hire, canoe and paddleboard hire.

Three Cliffs Bay, Gower

This is a luxury site that offers more than just caravan spaces. It has glamping, cottages, camping and everything you could ever wish for. This site has luxurious facilities, which include shower blocks and toilets for everyone to use.

It is also quite accessible by rail as its not far away from the Welsh Highland Railway.

Lonely Farm, Suffolk

We had to mention this one as its an adults only campsite which makes it perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. There is a lot to do and see nearby. The RSPB reserve of Minsmere is not far away which is featured on Spring Watch on BBC2. The seaside down of Aldeburgh is only down the road, which claims to be home to the best fish and chips in Britain. If its cycling you love then this campsite will also be great for you as there’s plenty of great cycling right on your doorstep.
